Summary | 0000030: Different behaviour for setparam with value zero
Description | Hi there, the file program ignores any parameter set using --parameter if the value is zero (file.c:430). At the same time, an according magic_setparam call does set the value. It might be questionable whether the value zero should be supported - in my opinion it should, even if just for tests and weird experiments. However, I'd appreciate if the file program and libmagic would show the same behaviour. The current situation created some confusion when trying to test effects of --parameter before using the function in an application. Regards,
